🐻‍❄️ Is The Friday The 13Th Remake Good

Friday the 13th (2009) review. It’s been 14 years since we last encountered Jason Voorhees patrolling Camp Crystal Lake. With new projects finally on the horizon…it’s a good time to take a look back at the 2009 remake. Friday the 13th does a number of good things but struggles to contend with a key issue. Jason Voorhees has never quite Let’s start with the basics. Friday the 13th is a 1989 NES game published by LJN (the notorious company at least partially responsible for some of the worst NES games ever made) but actually The opening is pretty legendary. Maybe too good for the rest of the movie. It was fun. I don’t think it nailed what made the original handful of Paramount films so good, no matter what others will say they think the series is about. It was fun though. And somehow it’s been the last we’ve seen of Friday the 13th in nearly 13 years. Friday the 13th Part 2 - Just a good little continuation of part one. I kind of hate the recap at the beginning, but whatever, such was the way of horror movies in those days. Friday the 13th: The Final Chapter - I know this is pretty much everyone's favorite, and I do enjoy it quite a bit. Crispin Glover being a dead fuck, and an even worse Jason Voorhees Had a Rocky Evolution. When Jason was first introduced in Friday the 13th, he was the dead son of Pamela Voorhees and the motivation for her killing spree in Camp Crystal Lake. However, when his corpse rose from the depths of the lake in Alice's dream, it brought up the notion that Jason may not be as dead as previously believed. 1/2 Friday the 13th: The Final Chapter 1/2 Jason Lives 3. Jason Goes to Hell Anyway, the Friday the 13th reboot is the better movie, and it is my (perplexingly unpopular) opinion that it is one of the best movies in the franchise. I don't understand why fans of this franchise dislike it, because it's like a streamlined love letter to the first four movies, with a super-badass and wily Jason. The "Friday the 13th" remake is better by default because it seems like a typical entry in the franchise. After an early redo of Mrs. Voorhees' death, it becomes its own thing and thus doesn't really feel like a remake. The "Nightmare" remake is awful and a waste of time. 2. L9RC6aR.
